THE MOST FAMOUS ATLANTIC LINERS IN HISTORY
One of the most important of all routes taken by ocean liners was the North Atlantic route at the beginning of the 19th century. It accounted for a large part of the clientele, who
traveled between ports of Liverpool, Southampton, Hamburg, Le Havre and New York City. The profitability of this route came from migration to the United States and the growing number of
travelling business men. The famous RMS Titanic, RMS Olympic, RMS Lusitania or the SS Normandie are typical liners of for this route.
The RMS Titanic is available in scale 1:350 since a very long time - but lot of aftermarket parts are necessery to build a realistic model. The 2019 expected 1:200 RMS Titanic of
Trumpeter is already previewed here and will be built after the release of MK1. Design's DX super uprade kit hopefully end of this year. Highest museum quality is the 1:350 multmedia kit
of the SS Normandie, made of OMK (Old Model Kits) - a an exclusive small production kit which was developed during 9 years of hard work. All these kits you could find here - as preview,
work-in-process and galleries (later).
