Die Firma Encore Models ist seit einiger Zeit dafür bekannt, bereits sehr gute Modelle anderer Firmen unter eigenem Label und unter Hinzufügung einer Vielzahl hochwertigster Details neu auf den Markt zu bringen. Das Flugzeug vom Typ Albatros D.II im Maßstab 1/32 stammt ursprünglich von der Ukrainischen Firma Roden und wird hier um Ätzteile (gefertigt von Eduard), Resinteilen (höchst detaillierter Motor, bestehend aus einer Vielzahl hochwertiger Reinteile), Weißmetallstreben für die Tragflächen und einer Resinfigur ergänzt.
